Meet Papimento
Papimento is a curious, imaginative boy who lives in Brooklyn with his mom, a talented chef who fills their home with food and flavors from around the world. By helping his mom, Papimento discovers that certain ingredients hold magical powers — transporting him on fantastical journeys to faraway lands.
Along the way, he meets new friends, learns the value of teamwork and kindness, and discovers that girls can be just as brave and strong as boys. Inspired by Orly Benaroch Light’s travels, love of food, and passion for empowering women and girls, the Papimento series celebrates friendship, compassion, courage, and the power of imagination — all sparked by the joy of sharing food and stories.
